Rajasthan govt ordered not to take mobile with them in schools ,there is doubts amid teacher that the mobile is must where all the works are based on Whatsapp group .

JAIPUR: The use of mobile phones will be prohibited for government teachers in Rajasthan schools, as stated by the state’s Education minister Madan Dilawar, who views mobile phones as a detrimental influence on students’ academic performance.

Dilawar informed the media on Monday that mobile phones will be prohibited in government schools. He expressed concern over teachers spending their time on activities like monitoring the stock market on their phones, which he likened to a disease. This distraction is negatively affecting the quality of education in schools, hence only principals will have permission to use mobile phones.

We are working towards enhancing the school system by ensuring strict adherence to rules, as mentioned by him. Additionally, teachers will not be permitted to leave the school premises for the purpose of participating in any religious activities such as Puja or Namaz. If teachers wish to attend such events, they must request leave in advance; otherwise, they will be subject to disciplinary measures.

Dilawar’s assertion is deemed unfeasible in light of the widespread use of mobile phones, leading to opposition from teachers unions. Narayan Singh, the spokesperson of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Shikshak Karmachari Sangh, emphasized that mobile phones have become indispensable and implementing such a decision is not viable. Singh stated, “Any attempt by the government to enforce such regulations will be met with resistance.”
